Openings exist for enthusiastic piano students. Prerequisites for piano lessons are simple. Do you own an acoustic piano or a quality digital keyboard? Do you or your student have a desire to learn, a willingness to laugh at mistakes while reaching for your personal best, a stick with it attitude and time to practice? MY FIRST PIANO LESSONSWeekly
30 min private lesson 4 Group Lessons per year Playful, age-appropriate learning for students 5-6 year olds. We'll be at the piano, singing, clapping and playing. Sometimes we dance around the studio and even get on the floor. This is how we learn music and fine motor skills in preparation for reading music. |
PIANO LESSONSWeekly 30 or 45 min private lesson 4 Group Lessons per year Traditional, conservatory lessons emphaszing classical repertoire, but always balancing with student's personal goals and music preferences Includes: Reading music/sight-reading Performing/competing Personal self-expression Creativity including improvising/composing Understanding how music is put together (theory) |
